Adhering to the technical innovation route of "independent innovation as the main, industry-university-research cooperation as the auxiliary", the company has walked out of an innovation road of rapid transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and the company's benefits have been greatly improved.
 
More than 95% of the company's existing R&D personnel are with bachelor degree or above. The company has established a stable industry-university-research cooperation relationship with Jilin University, Lanzhou University of Technology, Nantong University and other universities. The company has undertaken 3 national Torch plans and 1 Jiangsu Provincial Torch Plan, and has established Jiangsu Enterprise Technology Center, Jiangsu Provincial Engineering and Technology Research Center of Super (super) Critical Valve, and Jiangsu Provincial Enterprise Graduate Workstation. The technical leaders of the RESEARCH and development center have rich experience in research and development and management. They have been selected into the fourth phase of "333 High-level Talents Training Project" of Jiangsu Province, and won the "Outstanding Contribution Award for Science and Technology Innovation" of China General Machinery Industry Association. The main steam F92 forged steel gate valve led by the research and development is the valve with the highest working parameters of thermal power units at present. It won the gold medal of the 9th China International Fluid Machinery Exhibition and the 9th Valve Expo in 2018.
 
The company has a research and development site of nearly 800m², a testing center of 180m², a pilot plant and test area of 300m², and a flaw detection building of 216m². The center is equipped with more than 50 sets (sets) of cobalt-60 ray flaw detector, German "Bayleck" direct reading spectrometer, Niton handheld spectrometer, hydraulic valve test bench, universal material testing machine, X-ray flaw detector, microhardness tester and other testing instruments and small and medium-sized pressure testing equipment.
